Rules and Regulations

As stipulated by The Campus View Club Bylaws, these Rules and Regulations are established and approved by the Board of Directors to assure safe and sanitary operation of the club facilities for the enjoyment and benefit of all members. Members are required to read and explain these Rules and Regulations to their children, family members and guests. Membership only includes those living in the same household, and not extended family. The manager is available for any questions or concerns. For non-emergency issues, please use email.

Violation of these Rules and Regulations may incur fines and/or be considered sufficient cause for immediate dismissal from the club property and forfeiture of club membership. Fines will range from $100-$500, depending on the seriousness of the offense and prior history of offenses. The fines and rules are at the discretion of the Campus View Club Pool Board and may be subject to change.

GENERAL RULES

  1. Lending out or sharing of pool keys with non-members is strictly prohibited.
  2. There is a limit of 4 guests, unless it is a scheduled party arranged with the pool manager.
  3. Please securely close and lock the door to the pool area after entering and leaving. The door to the pool area shall not be propped open at any time.
  4. The climbing over or on any club fence or wall is prohibited.
  5. No sand shall be brought into the club facility.
  6. No bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, scooters, etc. are allowed in the pool area. These items must be placed in the proper designated bike rack area behind the women’s dressing room.
  7. The cost of club property damage caused by a member, or their guest, shall be charged to the member.
  8. The lifeguards, pool managers, and board members are responsible for rule enforcement and may use their discretion to ensure a safe and pleasant environment. This includes but is not limited to any verbal abuse, intimidation, or challenge of authority.
  9. The lifeguards, pool managers, and board members have the discretion to limit recreational activities that may affect the safety of others. Small water toys are permitted in the pool at the discretion of the lifeguards, pool managers, and board members.
  10. Lifeguards have the authority to ask swimmers to be out of the pool at their discretion.
  11. No abusive or foul language, offensive conduct, comments, or offensive clothing is allowed. This includes but is not limited to verbal abuse, bullying, discrimination, and intimidation to other members and or guests at the pool.
  12. Inappropriate displays of public affection are not permitted.
  13. All music must be listened to through ear buds or headphones.
  14. All trash or waste shall be placed in the proper containers provided by the club.
  15. The club will not be responsible for loss of or damage to personal property of any member.
  16. All personal property left at the pool for more than one week will be donated or otherwise disposed.
  17. All vehicles shall be properly parked in the spaces provided for such use in the parking lot. Parking is only permitted while the pool is open and while the member is using the pool facilities.
  18. These Rules and Regulations may be revised at any time by the Managers, upon approval of the Board of Directors.
  19. Club memberships must be sold through Campus View Club property management.
  20. Each member must have on record with the pool manager the following information: Name of adults, children, dependents in the household, address, home, and cell phone numbers for each adult member in the household. In the event of any changes, it is the member’s responsibility to update their information with the manager.

HEALTH AND SAFETY RULES

  1. NO ALCOHOLIC beverages are allowed in the club facilities or pool area.
  2. No smoking, vaping, or any type of tobacco products are permitted within the club facility.
  3. No glass containers of any kind are permitted in the pool area.
  4. No running, pushing, wrestling, or rough play on pool property. No flipping or any unsafe acrobatic entry into or around the pool.
  5. Admission to the pool is prohibited to anyone with a communicable medical condition.
  6. No person shall spit on or in any way contaminate the pool, pool deck, walkways or dressing rooms.
  7. No person shall eat or drink in the pool deck area (plastic water bottles are acceptable). All food and drinks are to be consumed at the picnic tables or lawn area.
  8. Children that are diapered or not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper.
  9. Swimmers must wear swim attire only. (No cotton clothing is permitted, as this clogs the filter system and uses more chlorine. Polyester fiber clothing is suitable.)
  10. No animals are permitted within the club facility.
  11. The club is not responsible for any accidents or injury of any member or their family or guests.
  12. This pool facility is a family friendly environment, we ask all members and guests to adhere to family friendly bathing suits and attire. Thong style swim suits are not appropriate and not allowed at the club by all members and guests.
  13. If any issues or complaints that arise and are not explicitly stated in our Rules and Regulations, the manager and board members have the right and authority to address these as they occur.

USE OF SHOWER FACILITIES

  1. Use of the showers is strictly limited to members and guests that are actively using the pool. Independent use of the showers outside of pool use is not permitted. Shaving is not permitted.
  2. ALL SHOWERS ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO FIVE MINUTES.
  3. These shower restrictions are necessary for the benefit of all club members due to the high cost of water to the club.
  4. It is the responsibility of parents to supervise and monitor shower use of their children.
  5. Personal items in club locker rooms should be stored in cubicles and not left on counters.

AGE LIMITS

Members under the age of 16 years old are NOT permitted in the pool facility without being accompanied by an adult. Lifeguards have limited hours during the summer months. It is the responsibility of parent members to ensure their dependents abide by the age limit restrictions after the Lifeguard is off duty.

  • Age 0-6: Must always be supervised by an adult member or a designated person at least 18 years of age.
  • Age 7-15: May swim under the supervision of a lifeguard or an adult at least 18 years old. Lifeguards may restrict unsupervised children for safety reasons.
  • Any guest of a member between the ages of 7-15 must have a written note from parent/guardian permitting their child to enter Campus View Pool while lifeguards are on duty.
  • All member’s children and guests from ages 7-15 must sign in and sign out when the lifeguard is on duty. The following information must be provided: Full name and emergency contact phone number.

POOL HOURS AND USE

The pool is open: 6:00am to 10:00pm daily. Members using the pool outside these hours will immediately forfeit their membership. The pool may be closed when necessary, at the discretion of the Managers, lifeguards or Board Members.

POOL PARTIES

Pool parties are available to club members. Parties must be booked through the Club’s property manager. Once the “Party Reservations Form” has been completed and returned to property management, the property manager will seek the necessary number of lifeguards needed for the party.
